Feast is an ongoing series: a research-based project centred on food and food culture, both historically and contemporarily. This project navigates contemporary culture’s desire to return to simpler, healthier times and investigates how sustainable eating is viewed as exclusive to those who can afford it. Between the cost of real food and our consistent need for convenience, organic ideals quickly become plastic fantasies.
