DESIRE LINES SERIES
Desire Lines explores the path hewn by individual steps: small, non-prescribed actions which slowly build to become established methods and ways forward. In Versicolour pendant and Spring Thaw brooch, offcuts of acrylic from other projects become an opportunity to build anew through mosaic. The reuse of scrap from each preceding project cycles the same material through several lives at the artist’s bench until almost nothing remains. Piece by piece, and step by step, change happens.
